Your choice will be between alpine streams or big plain rivers, all of them with good hatches, unpolluted waters and top quality fishing. We will mainly fish wild waters.

Northern Italy
The Alps are high mountains stretching from West to East of the northern part of Italy with two of the highest peaks of Western Europe: Monte Bianco (4810 m) and Monte Rosa (4634 m): Here our famous rivers have headwaters: Po, Dora Baltea, Sesia, Adda, Piave, Brenta are just some of them, but our guides will help you discover many more hidden gems.
In the beautiful regions of Central Italy
Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio- flow amazing rivers. They have a rich biodiversity and insect life, and dry fly fishing will be an experience full of surprise.
Rivers: Tevere, Nera, Velino, Sangro, Biferno and many others.
The fishing season is all-year-around - March to November included, depending on the waters, are the best months for trout and graylings, while predators are best fished in the coldest months, December, January and February. So 365 day a year.
It’s a true fishing and a demanding activity to catch wild fish! Amongst the best catches you will find MARBLE TROUT (Trutta marmoratus), a majestic fish up to 20 kg and the local BROWN TROUT (trutta trutta) and the ADRIATIC GRAYLING (Thymallus thymallus).
We love fishing so we strongly support catch and release in the wild water. All our programs are according to this rule and we think you will agree.
We believe that local knowledge and experience is of capital importance for fishing, so we rely on friends who know the river and water level like his/her pockets, and who live nearby.
The guide will be responsible for choosing the river, depending on the season, rains, water level and temperature and obviously according to your technique of choice on the tecnique. All our guides are English or German speaking.
you can choose your preferred fly fishing tecnique whether it is dry, wet, czech o “old style” nimphs, tenkara, valsesiana...you can use the one you like depending on the season. It is mandatory to use a barbless hook for respect to the fish.
Tackle and flies are available for rent.
My name is Pierluigi Roncaglione Garoffo, “Gigi” for short, and I was born in 1966. My first “official” licence dates back to 1977 but I am a fisherman from the age of 6. I have exclusively been flyfishing since the age of 14 in 1981, both in Italy and abroad. In 1998 I fell in love with Atlantic salmon and our relationship is still going on with different meeting in Uk, Norway and Denmark.
I am Vice President of a Non-Profit Association for Protection of Pellice river (Po tributary) since 2014 and a voluntary fishing guard in my district.
I decided to merge my experience of life and travels in Italy, both for work and fun, with my passion for fishing, to offer you tailored packages and let you discover the real Italian DOLCE VITA: art, culture, food, wine and fly fishing.
